As well as regularly programmed events we can also provide bespoke training and events. 

CLES use a blend of presentation, group tasks and discussions to enable us to engage with participants with various levels of experience and knowledge.  We aim to make our training and events useful, informative and relaxed, with opportunities for discussion and group work around specific tasks.  CLES will tailor all training or events to the exact requirements of your organisation.

We cater for all types of organisations and delegates including: local authorities, government departments, Private sector companies and Community and Voluntary organisations.

The Audit Commission, Economic Assessment Training

CLES worked with the Audit Commission over six months to deliver a series of bespoke training courses for Audit Commission Staff on the subject of assessing economic development in all of the Commission’s regional offices in England.  These courses were tailored specifically to the needs of Audit Commission staff in different parts of the UK.

East of England Regional Assembly, Local Economic development training for officers and members across the region

CLES worked with the East of England Regional Assembly to provide tailored training to officers and members across the East of England Region on economic development and regeneration.  CLES developed and delivered a range of courses in the region including: Introduction to economic development; Economic Development delivery; Low carbon economy; and Economic resilience

Government Office North West, Economic Literacy Training

CLES designed and delivered economic literacy training sessions for GONW staff.  CLES successfully delivered bespoke training across three different training sessions for staff who were based across different spectrums of the organisation with a considerable range of knowledge and experience in this field.
