Working with beneficiaries to design, deliver and evaluate projects

Tuesday 6th September 2016, central Manchester

10am until 4pm

Increasingly local authorities, housing associations, charities and other organisations are recognising the value of involving beneficiaries in the design, delivery and evaluation of projects. Involving beneficiaries early on in the design of programmes and ensuring they are ongoing active and valued partners can lead to more effective and efficient projects. Furthermore the process of engaging with beneficiaries in this way can itself lead to valuable outcomes such as improved employment-related skills and self-esteem for the beneficiaries. This one-day course will introduce techniques such as the co-design of project outcomes and training and working with community researchers, and share our learning from using these techniques in a variety of contexts.
