Summit 2010

Resilient places: The future for local economic development?
13th and 14th July 2010
Renold Building, University of Manchester

What is the Summit 2010 about?

Local economic development is changing as the policy context and the on-the-ground challenges evolve and intensify. This CLES Summit is about unpacking and exploring what these changes will mean for your work, your organisation and for the future of economic development.

Who should attend?

If you are interested in the future of our local economies and communities, want to know how we can do economic development better in the future, keen to meet new people, hear new ideas and have fun, then the CLES Summit is for you.

What do previous delegates say about the Summit?

Comments taken from evaluation forms returned after the Summt in 2009:

“Very good event - programme was excellent, all speakers well selected and very engaging.”

“Really informative, thought provoking event with like minded individuals. Challenging too.”

"Well organised, valuable, experience to meet people and share ideas. Sometimes lose the will to live in conferences- I felt alert all the time in this one.”
