July 2004 - Investment in regeneration initiatives over the past 30 years has resulted in millions of pounds going into poor and deprived communities without, in some areas any discernible return.
Part of the problem is that regeneration has failed to be all-encompassing in its inclusivity. It is for this reason that regeneration has failed to meet the challenges set by deprived communities.
