Strategy Development for Access Centres
Client: Nottingham City Council and Greater Nottingham Learning Partnership - December 2002 - May 2003
Access Centres are, essentially, a resource for community-based learning, training and employment support. In order to develop a strategy for the future development of Nottingham’s Centres we undertook a thorough background review of current neighbourhood learning provision and compared that to local needs, as identified by extensive consultation with strategic players, staff and users of the established Centres. The final report made recommendations, based on the research evidence, for progressing the development of Access Centres, which included identifying areas/communities and types of development where appropriate.
