REGEN 2000- SRB6 community fund

CLES Consulting and Equal Access Consulting were commissioned by Regen 2000 to undertake the final evaluation of the Community Fund, which aimed to contribute directly to the sustainable regeneration of the Regen 2000 area by strengthening the skill base within local voluntary and community organisations, enabling local organisations to engage more effectively with the regeneration of their communities.
The evaluation assessed the impact of the Community Fund in Phase 2, providing an overview of the programme’s activities and evaluating the programme’s success in meeting its strategic objectives and delivery plan targets. The evaluation also examined the wider impact of the SRB6 scheme, including qualitative outcomes and contribution to the Regional Economic Strategy; identified expertise and good practice achieved by the programme; assessed the sustainability of projects and the programme as a whole; and identified key lessons to be learnt from the SRB6 experience.
