A new direction for housing organisations
4th October 2012
Emerging policy agendas such as Localism and Welfare Reform are set to and are already having significant impact upon housing organisations and the communities they support. The dynamic of public policy is changing meaning that housing organisations are increasingly needing to think about new partnership arrangements, demonstrating impact, and delivering a wider variety of services beyond tenancy.
Working with the Housing Diversity Network (HDN), CLES has been undertaking research with housing organisations seeking to understand the impact emerging policy is having upon their operations and services and importantly how they are adapting. The research findings are based upon a survey of housing organisations engaged with HDN.
