CLES Commendations 2010

CLES Commendations are awarded annually at the CLES Summit. At the 2010 Summit three commendations were awarded celebrating projects which CLES feels have achieved positive local change.
In 2010 we were looking for projects that:
- link into the resilient places theme;
- had a significant impact on beneficiaries or the policy environment;
- tackled a project in an interesting and/or innovative way;
- tackled a particularly difficult or pertinent regeneration/economic development challenge;
- brought about transformational change.
CLES Consultants and Julian Dobson, Editorial Director of New Start magazine, considered a range of projects and chose three to receive Commendations in 2010
The projects chosen were:
- Grow
- The Star Inn
- East Lindsey Active
