Press Release: Stay up to speed on changing policy this year: CLES launches new training programme for 2010
18th January 2010
The Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES)[1] is delighted to publish a new training programme for 2010 . In what is set to be an eventful year in politics, CLES’ programme of training events will keep you up to speed with all the policy developments in the regeneration and economic development sector.
Established courses, such as the ever-popular ‘Local Economic Development’ and ‘Project Management’ training, are joined by more recent additions to CLES’ offer, such as ‘Making the most of your Local Economic Assessment’ and training on the innovative LM3 methodology for understanding how money circulates in the local economy.
CLES has over 20 years’ experience in the field of regeneration and local economic development and this expertise complements each of our training events. CLES trainers use real life examples and best practice from their project activities to shape the development and presentation of our courses. CLES events are not only an opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge, but also offer a chance to network and share ideas with other practitioners in the field.
Sarah Longlands, Director of Policy at CLES commented, “The start of a New Year is a great opportunity to refresh your knowledge and skills after the festive break. Our wide range of training courses, delivered by enthusiastic and experienced staff, are a fantastic way to help ensure you stay up to speed on all the emerging policies, challenges and opportunities facing our sector in the year ahead.”
