New Start was launched as the UK’s first regeneration magazine in February 1999, since when it has built an enviable reputation for its coverage of the myriad of activities involved in making better places.
Originally based in London, it relocated to Sheffield in 2002 and was produced as a weekly print publication until January 2009 when it was relaunched as a monthly magazine.
New Start was named magazine of the year in 2003 and won team of the year in 2009. The title has been part of Manchester based Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES) since October 2010 and is now published as an online magazine and monthly ezine and is available as part of the CLES membership.
