The Participatory Budgeting Unit is continuing its successful programme of masterclasses in participatory budgeting and its various applications.
The dates and topics are as follows – all classes will run from 10.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. and lunch will be provided:
16 February: Introduction to Participatory Budgeting
7 March: Participatory Budgeting in Social Housing and Development
16 April: Participatory Budgeting at the Neighbourhood level
15 May: Participatory Budgeting in Commissioning and Budget Cycles
The aim is to have small classes which will enable genuine interaction and learning to take place.
Venue: They will be held at the Unit’s meeting room at 35 Dale Street, Manchester, which is within easy reach of public transport.
